2024 FESTIVAL SUMMARY

MORE THAN JUST A FESTIVAL!

We foster entrepreneurs through the IngenuityLabs Incubator program, Ignite! entrepreneurship trainings and Ignite! Impact Awards, which offer tools, space and resources to underserved groups for projects that advance equity and improvere presentation in entrepreneurship.
We collaborate with partners to create vibrant artistic landscapes for local events, and we consult in the interconnected fields of placemaking, public art, urban planning and public programming.
We serve the community and surrounding districts by providing large-scale public events, accessible events, and pop-up programs like Ignite! Neighbor Nights, which are themed, hands-on intergenerational events.
We nurture a creative collective of 300+ "Ingeneers," a peer-to-peer social and learning network who construct showpieces that travel around Northeast Ohio and beyond.
We inspire curiosity and joy by activating our wide network in the creation of some of Cleveland’s most beloved events like the iconic IngenuityFest.

2024

What can we accomplish together?

Juneteenth Freedom Fest

Ingenuity has focused on the advancement of messages from Artists of Color in response to the racial equity and social justice movement through the #VoicesofCLE project, including co-founding the now annual Metrohealth Juneteenth Freedom Fest held in partnership with Downtown Cleveland Alliance!

Ingenious Spaces

Through our Ingenious Spaces program, Ingenuity curated and produced original works by local artists for projects commissioned by the Cuyahoga County Land Bank, the City of South Euclid, Western Reserve Historical Society, Lutheran Metropolitan Ministries, Downtown Cleveland Alliance, Playhouse Square, Dominion Energy Ohio and many more.

Ignite! Neighbor Nights

Throughout the year, Ingenuity hosts free, intergenerational Ignite! Neighbor Nights, monthly events built around themes like street art, sustainability and cultural power to strengthen and better serve our immediate neighborhood, creative community, and beyond.

Annual IngenuityFest

Each year, Ingenuity welcomes nearly 20,000 people into our home in the Hamilton Collaborative for a weekend full of art, music, dance, technology and more! IngenuityFest features more than 50 bands on 6 different stages and supported hundreds of artists, vendors and exhibitors. This year's event broke recent attendance records and showcased more than 100,000 square feet of new creative space to be developed into an expansion of our year-round IngenuityLabs home.

IngenuityLabs

Our staff and facility supports 24 IngenuityLabs Incubator tenants with space, tools and resources needed to launch and grow small businesses and creative projects. This number is slated to nearly double in coming years!

Ingeneers

We continue to promote opportunities to our creative collective of 300+ Ingeneers, who vision and build large-scale collaborative work throughout the community, collaborating on annual events such as Cuyahoga Land Bank's East Cleveland Alive!, BorderLight Theater & Fringe Festival, Leadership Cleveland's Accelerate Program, Rooms to Let, the annual Brite Winter Festival and many more of our region's most iconic events and experiences.

Community Placekeeping

We collaborate with neighborhood stakeholders on the critical placemaking and placekeeping work that promotes equity, social & economic development in our area, including the Cleveland Metroparks CHEERS study and the Re-Discover St. Clair - Superior Masterplan, aimed to set our neighborhood on a new course, celebrating both its past and present, connecting with its businesses, providing opportunities for residents to thrive, and intentionally linking the neighborhood to the lake and surrounding assets.
